CiP Time

This app was central to the agency's goal of becoming more profitable by gaining understanding of where man hours were spent.

I designed a rather crude but intuitive and easy to use input interface. Asking for less specificity would lead to higher quality and reliability of data.

I spent a lot of time and energy on data visualization directly in the app, removing the need to analyze numbers in order to see the big picture.

Available views were user dependent such as department overviews which were restricted to department managers.

We added a few key management features like this overview that showed total hours logged vs expectation.
